The Off Set Oval House Ornate Garden Pod offers spacious seating for up to 10 people across two sofas, making it ideal for dining, lounging, studying, and entertaining. The design includes a 100 cm lockable double-glazed French door entrance along with three slide-up polycarbonate windows positioned at the front and back, allowing for excellent ventilation and full 360° panoramic views.
Inside, the pod features comfortable edge seating arranged around a central table, enhanced by ambient LED downlighting for a warm and inviting atmosphere. It is equipped with a 2.4 kW heater with fan, a 24 V Bluetooth sound bar, and a 13 A power socket with USB port, providing both comfort and functionality throughout the year.
The structure is built using laminated, treated sustainable spruce timber arcs, complemented by a stainless-steel roof designed to provide shade while reflecting heat. The interior is finished with a luxurious, water-resistant material that is easy to clean and resistant to stains and mould. Seating includes 75 mm thick cushion pads along with scatter cushions, with seat covers available in multiple colours to suit your style.
The pod is also designed with accessibility in mind, offering wheelchair access through the double doors. It can be installed on level paved, concrete, or decked surfaces. Installation is included for mainland UK customers, and the product is backed by a 10-year manufacturer’s guarantee.
Optional Upgrades
A Half Bed Mode upgrade is available for additional comfort and versatility. You can also upgrade from standard PU leather to suedette upholstery, available in 17 different colours.
Measurements & Weight
The pod measures 220 cm in height, 390 cm in width, and 240 cm in depth. The base footprint is approximately 170 x 320 cm, with a minimum siting area required of 250 x 390 cm. A hard-standing base of approximately 175 x 325 cm is required for installation, although some references list 170 x 325 cm, which can be confirmed at booking.
The total pod weight is approximately 580 kg.
Installation & Site Preparation
A total area of 390 x 250 cm is required for installation. The pod must be installed on a solid, level base measuring approximately 325 x 170 cm, suitable for paving, concrete, or decking. If preparing a new base, allow at least 7 days for the surface to settle before installation. Installation service is included for mainland UK customers, subject to confirmation at booking.
Electrical
Electrical work must be carried out by a qualified electrician. The pod includes a consumer unit located in the rear cupboard. Power is supplied through a compression gland positioned approximately 50 cm above ground level in the centre of the rear panel.
The unit is supplied with both male and female 32 A connection sockets, allowing for safe and straightforward connection.
Care & Maintenance
To maintain the appearance and longevity of the pod, it is recommended to treat the timber with a suitable wood oil twice a year, ideally in spring and autumn.
